Proud occasion for over 700 students as they graduate from O Fiaich Institute of Further Education and Training

There were great celebrations as staff and students of Ó Fiaich Institute of Further Education and Training gathered at the Fairways Hotel to for the 2024 Graduation Ceremony, which was attended by over 700 students their proud families and friends.

The graduates were awarded QQI qualifications and ITEC qualifications that will pave their way towards further studies at universities or directly into employment. The popularity of this alternative route to employment and higher education has been steadily increasing among leaving certificate students, offering them the opportunity to acquire valuable skills and knowledge.

The sense of pride and accomplishment was evident throughout the ceremony as the graduates were praised for their dedication, perseverance, and hard work throughout their courses.

Among the graduates were many mature students who had made the courageous decision to return to education to either upskill or pursue a career change. These students, driven by their passion and determination, excelled in their chosen fields, serving as an inspiration to their fellow students and reminding everyone that it is never too late to pursue their dreams.

Ó Fiaich Institute of Further Education and Training announced the commencement of more than 60 courses in September 2024, providing prospective students with a wide range of educational opportunities to explore. The Institute stressed its commitment to providing high-quality education and preparing students for the challenges of the ever-evolving job market.

The graduation ceremony concluded with the presentation of specialised awards in I.T, Sports and Academic Achievement. The occasion was very kindly sponsored by KTF Housing.
