LMETB has produced a short guide to the QQI approved Early Learning and Care programmes at NFQ Levels 5 and 6. The eBook gives an overview of this new professional Award and sets out the main roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders in the programme; learners, professional programme providers, professional placement providers, placement supervisors and placement monitors.
It provides guidance on the placement requirements in addition to providing an overview of key ELC policies and procedures. There is also an opportunity to submit queries via an MS Form.
The eBook was developed by Caron Hourigan, ELC tutor with LMETB, and produced by Shay Casserly, LMETB tutor, with input from Alanah Kirk, BTEI Louth and edited by the ELC Co-ordinator, Colette Kelly.
