LMETB’s Early Learning and Care (ELC) Co-ordinator, Colette Kelly, recently organised a second ‘Sharing Good Practice’ event for all teaching staff who currently deliver the QQI-approved ELC Level 5 programme in LMETB. The event was hosted by in Drogheda Istitute of Further Education, where 21 colleagues from across Louth and Meath met face to face to share good practice in ELC. The group was informed of recent amendments to the ELC Programme and they engaged in a discussion with representatives from both Louth and Meath County Childcare Committees. They also attended a series of interactive TEL workshops, including Chat GPT, EdPuzzle, Canva and Thinglink, before taking part in a relaxing session on ‘Prioritising Health and Wellbeing; Empowering Educators for Optimal Performance’.
